Marc Silver is an audio historian, writer, and former high-end audio retailer with more than five decades of experience in consumer electronics. He founded Northridge Audio Centre and later Soundscape, once the largest independent audio/video dealer in the western United States. A certified Audio/Video Consultant and licensed California sound contractor, Silver has written extensively for newspapers and industry publications and continues to explore the history, technology, and culture of high-end audio.
